From August 15 to 16, the 13th workshop on "Studies of Political Culture, Psychology and Behavior", organized by the Research Center for Public Affairs and Local Governance and the School of Government was successfully held at Nanjing University. The opening ceremony was presided over by Xiao Tangbiao, Director of the Research Center for Public Affairs and Local Governance and Professor at the School of Government, NJU, and Chen Xiaosheng, Vice Dean of the School of Government, NJU, delivered a speech. During the ceremony, Hunan Normal University was officially admitted as a new member of the Chinese Political Science Research Alliance.

The workshop featured seven thematic sessions where participants shared insights and engaged in academic discussions on topics such as "Development, Progress, and Challenges of Political Science in China."
On the afternoon of August 16, the closing ceremony was presided over by Professor Li Lifeng from the School of Government, NJU. Professor Yang Xuedong from Tsinghua University and Xiao Tangbiao delivered closing remarks and summaries, and extended farewell greetings. They highlighted the workshop’s focused themes with far-reaching concerns, and interdisciplinary perspectives that inspired innovation. The event also served as a bridge connecting academic research with policy practice, effectively integrating academic insights with practical wisdom.
