The National Undergraduate Electronics Design Contest is one of the disciplinary competitions jointly initiated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It aims to promote the development of majors and courses in the electronic information field and guide institutions of higher learning to emphasize the cultivation of university students’ innovative abilities and collaborative spirit. Additionally, it also helps to strengthen the students’ hands-on skills and their comprehensive ability to design and produce electronic systems for practical problems, attracting more students to participate in extracurricular scientific and technological activities.

NJU attached great importance to this competition, providing substantial support in terms of funding and organization. They diligently organized activities such as a pre-competition mobilization meeting, an on-campus selection contest, and intensive training sessions. These efforts effectively enhanced the students’ practical abilities and competition level, ensuring the smooth execution of the contest.

In recent years, the NJU Experimental Center has utilized disciplinary contests as a key to cultivating students' practical and innovative abilities. In the future, the center will continue to strengthen the cultivation of students' innovative spirit and practical skills, integrating comprehensive, multi-faceted, and high-level disciplinary contests with the educational objective of cultivating first-class undergraduate talent, and continuously enhancing the quality of undergraduate education.
